My rig is nearly up and running again now so i'll be updating the scores in a hour or so. i've found my athlon x2 220 to use instead of the sempron as its faster. it also means i can be at the bottom of the scores multithread when i've cinebenched it later.

I still have a XP 3200+ (Windows 7!) machine here which I'm sure will run this no problem :P

3.8ghz was at1.4v it takes the extra voltage partly because of my board being crap and partly because the limits of that cpu comes quickly. 4ghz is a large oc. Its at 2.8ghz stock.

Yeah that is true ;)

I got rid of my 4770k recently so I can't even try messing around with it

You just had to be first huh? Time to overclock to 5.1 Ghz :P

Does the 4930k hit an overclocking wall at around 4.8 Ghz?

I see your voltage is only at 1.48v. What kind of heat does it produce at that voltage?

I know my 3930k can do 5 Ghz easily at 1.51v and 5.1 at like 1.55v never tried going beyond that.

82 degrees on the hottest core with an h100i.

My motherboard supports upto 1.7v maybe 5.2-5.3 Ghz, not worth the risk though, even if it's for 5 minutes.

Hahahahaha

Yes almost impossible to get past.. :( (I will try again though)

At that voltage I was looking at 75c on the hottest core

Yeah we have the same Mobo so it should be the same :)

Sorry about the limited reply I'm out and on my phone :P
