I couldn't push this OC on a 240mm AIO which is similar to performance to most high end air cooling, had to build a 600mm worth of radiator space loop lol - cause Cine would spike it to shut down - Good luck!

I think that definitely explains my troubles lol. Maybe I'll borrow an A/C unit and jayz2cents my way past 4k. Appreciate the help 👍

Terrible fresh delivered 9900k.. 1.41v and still unstable at 5 GHz but fully stable at 4.9 at 1.264v (maybe because of the 9900 KS?)

Is it stable at 4,4GHz with that low static voltage? Almost tempted to grab a 3600X over a 3600

EDIT: Didn't see u said 1.38V. Did u change LLC to give extra voltage under load?

Main:  1650 v2   @ 4,6GHz   -   X79 Deluxe                -   GTX 1080 @ 2000MHz   -   24GB DDR3 @ 2400MHz / CL10

Haven't had to, stable yeah and voltage is dropping at idle same as before only difference is the max voltage i see now is 1.38 instead of 1.48.

It's cold outside air.  I have my system (which is an open-air Thermaltake Core P3) setup directly in front of a window that has an awesome window fan installed in it.  It is blowing the cold night air directly at the 360 push-pull radiator with the fans setup to draw directly from that window fan.

In other words -- I harness the orbit and tilt of the Earth to cool my PC.

For South Texas it's pretty awesome.  I don't get 32*F weather often enough for my overclocking addiction.  And it usually requires me to stay up later than I usually do as I have to wait for the temp to drop sufficiently enough to make it worth while.  I'm really waiting for a really good cold front that will bring some cold daytime air.

cleaned out my loops while swapping graphics card blocks, re-LM'ing the CPU, and decided to finally start working on fine-tuning a daily OC.

My best CBR15 score to date - need to do some fine tuning but I was surprised and happy :)

Mind you this is on a 7960x that I dirty OC'd to 5.2ghz last winter for some 3dmark benchmarks. Hopefully this winter will be even better!

Lenovo ThinkPad T60 from 2007 with a Core2 Duo T7200 @ 2.0GHz. It's weird how much faster this feels like than modern low end laptops (AMD A4/Intel Celeron N). Maybe Windows 7 is just so much faster than 10?

First pc build: ryzen 3600 with vddcr set @ 1.15V and 4.125GHz. Thermals stayed comfortably below 85C with >32C ambient earlier today, albeit same voltage but only 4.1GHz. At time of this run it was 24C ambient and barely scraped 75C. Haven't done GPU OC yet so that's the reason for not bothering to run that test.
