Too bad it isnt real, I would have liked to see the chiller for the cpu because custom looping wouldnt be enough cooling for 28 cores @4.8 ghz

But still, just water wouldnt be enough for the heatoutput of intel chips at around 4.5-5 GHz, especially because intel itself needed a chiller for the 3175x at computex

true. the heat in Watts wouldn't be the problem, its the heat density that is the issue with these chips.

you could tighten those memory timings a lot. you should be able to get 14-14-14-28 ez with memory voltage at 1.4v

i tried before but it just ended up in a boot loop and had to pull the battery il give it a shot again tho

you need to set the soc voltage manually to 1.15v as well.

I got them down to 15,15,15,30  and a cb of 1922 then a blue screen before I could capture it dropped it bk to 3200 was at 3333

This thread is going strong i see. Hmm, hmm. Ok - here's my submission then. Slight overclock on the custom water cooling - but i mostly headed for looks on my TensorFlow personal WS than overcloackability. Not 9000 though. Not even close. Should get moar hardware!

I heard that machine learning tools like GPUs a lot but I guess your models like CPU cores better? (I also see you have atleast one RTX 2080 Ti, how many are you using? :D)

It is in the office right now so i can't tell before i get there on Monday but as far as i remember it is not great because i run it in the all core overclock mode at 3.47 which means that single core turbo boost is also topped at 3.4 instead of going at 3.78 - so one core is somewhat in the ballpark of the i7 4700 single core score. I will post the exact score on Monday.

The thing is i'm running a Docker swarm with the different versions of the trained model for cross-comparison and self-validation, so i'm using GPUs (i currently have two of them installed) for training the new models and CPUs to run like a 50 to a 100 Docker images with the scoring models.

Machine learning/Deep learning workstation. I just wanted my main workstation not to be boring plus i wanted to try myself at the custom water cooling - so it is my first try at that too.

 

My previous workstation (now retired to be my main home PC) looks like this:
