Ryzen 7 1700

;)

Single Core: 173

Multi Core: 1703

R7_1700_2133dual.jpg

What frequency on all cores when active?

That seems better result than stock 1800X, and from reviews it seems that it can't go beyond 4,2GHz on normal cooling (water, air).

I'm interested how did you get such a high score with the lowest Ryzen R7 lol

It was at 3.95ghz on all cores, 4.375 single core boost.

Below is my 1800X on all 8 cores at 4.066

P.S. IGNORE the voltage in CPU-Z. it's not reading correctly. I was at 1.375V

4,375 is great result for R7 1700 lol

It's acctually better than R7 1800 xD

But how stable is that 4,4GHz on single core? Max temps and voltage?

For the 1700 I was just around 1.4v i think... Temps were around ~73C under water

I've got it to 4.15 now on all cores stable.. I'll post more results later this evening/ in the morning... I think I can squeak a little more.

That would be great.  Thanks!

I'm interested in how it compares to my 5960x.

It's good seeing a chip in the hands of a user instead of all the bullshit.  xD

Here's my OC'd 1700 in geekbench for those curious.... 4.00 all cores, 4.375 single core boost

https://browser.primatelabs.com/v4/cpu/1988723

Those seems like great results to me.

Hopefully @done12many2 will also post his geekbench score of i7 7700k or 5960x, so we can compare those CPUs.

Wondering what's the difference in single core performance from 5960x to R7 1700. We all know i7 7700k will beat it in single core performance, but also wondering by how much.

I have a 5960x, 6800k, 6950x, 6700 and 7700k in my house... i'll geekbench them tomorrow and post all of them. I had the 6700 plugged in last night and ran geekbench on it though:

This is the NON K part.

This was the best I got out of my 5960x at 4.8 GHz on water.  1968cb multi / 196cb single

This was the best out of my 7700k at just under 5.4 GHz.  1218cb multi / 239cb single  *I'm still working on improving this one.

Oh so you are another person like @done12many2 with tons of hardware in his house.

I'm suspecting that you two robbed a bank together

Cinebench them.  Nobody here really does Geekbench so it's not very relevant to us.

I think you don't need to improve any more lol

Once again ... you won the greatest silicon lottery with that 5960x

Well, that definitely wasn't the daily clock speed.  It was 4.7 stable which cranked out around 1910cb for multi.  4.8 was just to get what I could out of the chip with all cores.

And I would clock it down to 4,5GHz just to be safe xD

1.45V for slightly over 4GHz does not sound fun at all.
