Not even OC'd yet, just sitting at base clock.

A find from the dump.. FX-8350,990x Sabertooth R2 and Noctua NH-U12s. Had been out in the rain, motherboard had rusted pins and there was a puddle in the bottom of the case, a Cooler Master Enforcer btw.  A good scrub an alcohol bath and some hair dryer action and away she went.

I don't dare over clock my i9 without getting a pump in here, but then i run into the problem with the GPU overheating (the spot for an AIO is taken by a 2nd fan for the GPU Chamber) But i sure have some numbers to try and beat!

Been a long time since I've been in this thread, had some fun cranking a fx-8320 to the max, and now I'm back with a 3900x. Couldnt get 4.4 no matter how hard I tried, so heres a 4.35GHz r20 run.

Made a few runs last night with the cooler weather.  It was late so I didn't take the time to push it as hard as I could and my best CB 20 score I didn't bother to record because I couldn't remember what my previous best was and it wasn't saved.  If you're curious -- the run was a hair over 4600.

It should be cooler today and tonight so I might get some more runs in.

I beat my previous best CB 15 score by 20 points with slightly slower CPU speeds, but better memory timings.  This run was all cores at 4.45GHz.  BCLK was set to 102.4 to achieve it so make a note of that if you're looking at the multipliers.

Simply manual all core OC 4350 MHz, 1,325 V. Gotta say i'm not really liking OCing this chip, i think it would take A LOT of effort to make overclocking worth it because you would have to basically find all the single core frequencies by themselves. Single core 4350 MHz isn't really impressive when at stock it's 4650 MHz

Well I introduced the outdoor ambient to the indoor ambient.  So it's kinda cheating.

I have contemplated this.

Separately, are those just the regular Corsair SP120 fans or are they the better SP120L 2700 RPM fans?
