Save an Electron . . . <snip> always.

I got an old FX-9590 System with a damaged mainboard. So OC ist out of question (need to undervolt 1.44V to 1.35V and underclock it to 4,2 GHz) because any higher my System simply stopps working. So that does hurt to see but you re warned [Grapic Content for Linus and all they still love this CPU]

Probably, though as usual don't expect the process to be quick or easy.

Absolutely! Unfortunately i have another use for all of my Platinum equipped systems, but these two guys (i have no idea who they are but they look confident enough for me) apparently did this. They did it with Xeon W-3175X, but it does not matter - it is the same process.

So, yeah, C621 chipset is working just fine.

Main System: 2 x Intel Xeon Platinum 8268, 384GB DDR4 2933 ECC, 2 x NVidia 2080 Ti FE, 2 x Samsung Enterprise 3.2TB NVME PCIe Gen.3x8 SSD, custom water cooling.

Thank you for your reply! Very happy to hear about it. But unfortunately I am using a Geforce RTX GPU, which I found is not usable in Macintosh :( .

3900x at stock settings in bios, and on my mobo PBO is on by default, the only thing I've changed is set xmp to 2800, anything higher than 2833 xmp is unstable, noctua nh-d15 with single fan in middle position, only apps running is c r15 and cpuz, i've gotten a run of 3189 and 206 before but forgot to screencap it:

Just built this rig a few days ago. Dell R610 rack server upgraded with 2x Xeon X5675s and 24gb of ecc ram with those. In total, I paid under $300 for this whole setup. I'd say I did pretty darn good.

I'm keeping them reliable and stock. This rig is going to be used for running game servers. Don't need it crashing every 3 hours

Hi, I recently found out my memory speed is not as fast as i expected, I have a question: You have two 8268 CPUs, and the memory should be using all the 12 channels right? What is your memory speed(Aida 64 memory test) at 12-channel 2933?

Any reply will be appreciated :D
