8700k @ 5.2Ghz 1.485v delidded Best run was a 1706, keeps crashing mid run at 5.3Ghz any ideas? uncores @ 5Ghz, mems 3200Mhz 15,19,19,38,560 i've tried 1.52v not luck too

My goal is 1720

Nothing fishy at all. It's just OC via BCLK. 150MHz+ by the looks of it.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I know one may manage through those certain old BIOS or BCLK to get it around 4.6gh~4.7ghz and achieve it, a bit of a harder approach but doable, it's just given the lack of further information aside the cinebench result itself one can still assume it's fishiness :P

You'd think after 600 pages and 1000 results not to mention the big text in the OP that CPU-Z is probably required.

 

That little window can tell a lot as to what the CPU is doing. It's defo BCLK OC but by how much? Wonder what their RAM is at too?

Its a 4.4 ghz i5 6400 blck oc'ed. Nothing fishy about it, i didnt really want to be in the list since ive not tried the highest oc possible, but im no scammer so here it goes.

It's a great CPU, the workloads I do though prefer 6+ cores and higher clocks are always better! Also the Ryzen 3800(x) does seem appetizing after looking at those supposed specs!

Cinebench R15

 

Daily driver mode:

Ryzen 7 2700 at 4.2 Stable and air cooled

Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 at 3200 Stable

 

Previous higher score in Cinebench wasn't RAM stable.

 

Included HWInfo to show thermals and power consumption after Cinebench run.
