LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway

The PF1000U is pretty amazing, projecting such a large image while being so close to the surface being projected on. I have to admit though, the price is probably the biggest bottleneck (heh) for anyone interested in such a target.

The concept of reflecting the image is something I've only previously seen on smartboards, and am quite interested to see a comparison between this and a, say, Smartboard.

TL;DR Looks like a great product with a premium price to go with it.

I think LG has made the most awesome projector ever... And I have seen a lot of projectors. I didn't even know LG made projectors! It takes a lot of designing to make a big picture on a wall so close. Keep up the good work!

I have waited a long time for short-throw projectors to come of age, without a massive heat signature. This looks to be a winner, and the only complaint I have is that they cost money :D

Crossing my fingers and following @LGUS (I'm @Silver_Seagull).

Hanging this on the wall and playing games like rocket league while lying on the bed with an x-box one elite controller would be perfect ~

I think this projector would be great for outdoor movie theaters or for people who need a portable projector.

I like how u don't have to have PF1000U so far from ur screen source. Nun other like other projects that have to shine from a  farther distance witch is a great feature to have. I would   Assume This would be awesome to game on?

It seems like it would be a great projector. I like that it only weighs 5lb. Not sure how bulky to power brick is(if it has one) because I couldn't find a picture of it. The picture quality seems to be really good !!! I would like to know how good the speakers are.

Looks like a great item! No longer do you have to have a massive room for a decently sized screen!

This would be fantastic for parties, or even for out of house use.

Just hang up a white blanket between a few trees, and you have your own mini theater. Such a huge screen!
