Contact Corsair Support and ask for a hard firmware reset. The power outage might of corrupted the firmware.

While I could do that does this qualify for an RMA or does it void the 2 year warranty, I bought it last year.

As long as you didnt damage it with any liquids or open it up you can always RMA it. You will have to pay for shipping to them tho, unless you can get someone high up to waive it for you. (highly unlikely)

I had issues with mine when it was plugged into USB 3.0 but when I switched to 2.0 it worked perfectly. I would give that a try and if it doesn't work I would RMA.
