ZOTAC AMP! OMEGA GTX 980 Ti Terrible Framrates

I just installed my brand new GTX 980 Ti and have slightly overclocked it. I did a fresh install of drivers and removed the old AMD drivers. After a few moments of gaming and from then on out in any game on the computer has terrible frames per second and lag in input. What could be the problem?

Try earlier drivers

Did you restart the computer after installing drivers and stuff?
