Small problem...

Whike trying to upgrade my crappy motherboard I ran into a problem, THIS PESKY ******* SCREW! It seems to have been installed defected, as the pattern inside has worn out...

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get it out, I would appriciate it!

Thanks

If its a screw where the head has been stripped, put a rubber band over it and press down with the screwdriver and turn. it'll be the easiest way to get the screw out.

isnt the outside of the screw a hexagon? I dunno but 8mm(i think) wrench should fit on it normally...You can also always try using pliers but just be careful

You can also try screwing out the standoff from the case with small pliers...

If the stand-offs to that mobo are removable, try and get a small wrench/pliers under there, unscrew it from the case, then use the standoff to unscrew it.
