whats a good $100-$150 smartphone

i dont need anything fancy just a cheap one to have just incase, the cheaper the better but not a chinese one with two sim slots xD 

 

has to be able to run some apps, so not like a g2 or prism

last time I bought a smartphone they were only like $200-$300 for a expensive one, but i do have the first HTC one

At Least a quadcore CPU and 2GB of ram are essential imo, check out the BLU Vivo Air LTE.

Got My Dad the Samsung Core Prime I think its called. It was $130 plus tax through T Mobile. Id guess it can run some apps.

The Moto G series phones are very decent phones for the price. I think they range from 100-150 bucks.
