Are Hackintoshes an option? I don't mind OSX but hate Apple's hardware.

Eh, if money isn't an issue. Switch to apple, use bootcamp to get Windows again. Because just having an apple PC isn't enough to get Windows away from me. I need it for gaming.

But if I really couldn't use bootcamp to get windows... then I'd have to quit LTT I guess...

Yes linux and unix have similar commands but Linus still build linux from the ground up. There are a lot of operating systems that use the command line, doesn't they're made from unix.

I actually prefer OS X, so I wouldn't be pissed having to use a Mac.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.
