DDR4 2133 vs DDR4 3000- does it effect the FPS is games?

I know that editing programs actually benefit from it, but does this effect the FPS in games?

And is it worth it overall to take 3000mhz over 2133?

faster RAM = faster CPU,

games mostly scale with GPU

It'll help, just get 2400-2666MHz and be happy, don't spend $20-$30 more on 3000MHz.

It's better to spend the extra money on getting a better gpu if you can it'll give a much larger difference in fps

If you're using an APU, then faster RAM is well worth it, but let's be honest: if you're playing AAA games and having a good time, you're not on an APU, and faster RAM won't do much for you.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

When it comes to gaming, RAM speed isn't all that important. any performance boost you could get from having increased RAM speeds, is almost immediately countered by you now having higher CAS latency. 2133 vs 3400 results in MAYBE a few fps different. Definitely not worth the investment if you're only gaming. Now there ARE times when faster RAM is beneficial (such as servers) but gaming is never one of those times.

Faster RAM helps rendering, etc. If you're wanting to get more FPS, please don't get RAM. Save for a better GPU...

Personally, I use RAM to look cool. Lmao. More the merrier. :P

CPU choices can benefit with more MHz, but usually not worth the extra money paid. if the pricing is minimal between the two speeds, the faster can prevail.

digital foundries did some gaming with faster RAM and found some benefits, but again, comes down to budget spending.

RAM speed can give a noticeable boost to performance on some CPU heavy games.
