Brain vs Quantum Computers

  1. 1. What do you guys think? if humans used 100% of there brain would Quantum Computers still be superior? (Not talking about begging Quantum Computers but about Advanced Quantum Computers)

Ooh,well we really cant know for sure but we can see what can be more realistic...also if everybody votes something comes after quantum computers,how can we build something more superior than a Quantum Computer if we cant get smarter or more intelligent?

What do you mean we can't really know for sure? There are things like EEG and FMRI tests that show these things pretty clearly.

Technology can never be trusted unless we know it can,many people think we can trust technology but we cant,we are not Superior (yet) and everything we made is based of simple knowledge we gained thru our life span,EEG and FMRI are not superior to what human mankind can create

As others have said, it is a proven fact that we use 100% of our brains. It's not like there is a massive chunk of intelligence blocked off by a "dam" in our brains. The 10% bullshit is just that. Bullshit.

 

Technology will always improve. After quantum computing, there will be biological computing. The first biological transistor has already been invented and boasts a much greater potential than quantum computing.

After seeing the poll results, do you guys realize how advanced our brains are? A quantum computer couldn't touch our sense of logic, creation, and emotions. Equations and predictions are about the only thing it could do better.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

Yea but when will we show 100% of everything we are capable? for now Quantum Computers are far more Superior than any mind out there! we dont create we upgrade,we take a normal Computer and turn it into a Quantum Computer we take a Quantum Computer turn it into something more Superior,We are no where near the mind of a computer or any technology,but thats what we are good at taking the previous machines and turning them into new ones with a far more superior mind and capabilities!

I think you're missing my point by a long shot. Our minds are much more capable than a quantum computer. No matter how you spin it, a computer takes directions from a human. Until computers become self aware without an instruction set, then we are superior in every way except for calculations and predictions.

You really ought to go and do a little more research into how quantum computers actually work and how the human brain actually works... The mainstream garbage that is spouted about both is mainly just incorrect.

Both close but still incorrect, Quantum computers don't have both 0's and 1's at the same time, they have the possibility of both existing due to quantum mechanics and they don't know what one or anything stupid like that because they are not sapient and are basically extremely powerful calculators. The brain is a massive network of neurons that  don't send data but just electrical signals, the  actual information that we know is stored in "patterns" of these signals... I'm not going to go into any more detail for the sake of  not wanting to write more and the chance I might get something wrong. If I already haven't... Google is your friend, its quite interesting if your willing to put in the time to look into it :)

To be honest im not a fan of searching the brain or Quantum computers i have in the past,i just dont think im not for knowing Quantum Computers or the brain im more of a PC and The Universe,Cosmos what ever you wanna call it guy,the only time i watch something about the brain is when i turn on the TV since its allot more interesting for me to watch it on TV,but the brain is pretty interesting to research i agree...

What in the hell are you even talking about? We have a lot more information than what is just gained through the span of a single human life, it's called history and records. It's not like all of the knowledge we gain in a life as a species just gets wiped out after a generation.

 

This honestly sounds like the arguments I've seen creationists make when talking about the numerous ways of dating fossil evidence. I mean come on what do you mean by "we are not superior yet"? Superior to what?

Actually quantum computers rely on a something can't remember in a tube that can be in 16 different positions. Everything has to be rewritten from the ground up so don't get hopes up that it will be amazing any time soon. Even if we perfect it. A computer still can't be smarter then the person who programmed it. Even with AI. If a computer researched something and found things we didn't know this all changes

Superior to know we can trust technology %100,Superior to quantum computing,Superior to biological computing,just face it we are NO WHERE NEAR SUPERIOR,cameras are not superior,computers are not superior,phones are not superior today's technology that normal people can buy is NO WHERE near the possibilities of creation from mankind,Maybe one day we could travel to the end of the universe (if it has a end) discover all the planets,turn one matter to another(not talking about fire etc...),replace organs and cells easily,cure all diseases,get into a black hole without getting ripped apart,walk on the sun,walk on a neutron star the possibilities and endless and just keep going...

No a computer was created and coded by a man. You can't create intelligence from air. Someone thought and programmed how the computer will save all the data and so on. Super computers are at about a cats level of brain performance and the amount of cooling and size required is insane. Then you look at our brain. Tiny and runs off tacos and water. You can't get better then that. Computers run off electricity so do our brains. Also 1nm is not going to happen anytime soon as we need to find somethings other then silicone as it does not work sub 6nm. Computers are good but are far from a human brain
