Posted July 1, 2016 I am in a bit of a dilemma. You see, Eid is coming up on Tuesday and i dont know what to get. I am probably gonna focus on peripheral upgrades this year with the presents/cash i get. My mouse, keyboard and monitor are 10 years old and need upgrading. So should i get £40 cash from parents or an M65 RGB? Current Rig: CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. Posted July 2, 2016 The mouse itself is terrible for aiming in terms of lateral stability. It feels like a brick at 120 grams WITHOUT the weights The sniper button is a stupid gimmick and makes it impossible to grip the side of the mouse with the tip of the thumb. No, I am not biased. The only people who like the idea of a sniper button like that are casuals who think they are good at video games when all they do is play matchmaking CSGO or Dota 2 and have zero cups or seasons of actual leagues. Posted July 2, 2016 As others have mentioned (and I have said this before in a topic you posted), the M65 is not a good gaming mouse, especially the laser version you are looking at. There's a Sabre RGB Optical with the S3988 sensor for £25 and it weights below 100g. I'm not sure how good the implementation is, but on paper it seems like a very good deal. @woll3 can comment on that. I think it's either the S3989 (if it's not exclusive to Razer anymore) or the PWM3360. Either way, imo it's not worth it over the older model with the tribal logo. https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-gaming-cg-sabre-rgb-6400-dpi-optical-lightweight-gaming-mouse-with-three-zone-multiple-colou From salty to bath salty in 2.9 seconds
