Is 1GB a month enough

Overkilled

So the time with my One M8 and HTC as a whole is coming to an end (I've had 5 HTC phones over the years but I hate their new design language) and I want the S7 edge but I fear 1GB isnt enough, I had a 1gb plan on the M8 and if I wasnt careful I found it running out 15+ days before the next month at times. I fell in love in this phone but maybe I should get a lesser phone

(P9, 6s...) with a better deal?

1GB is a little restrictive. You can get away with it, but only if you're careful. I pay 5 EUR for a plan with 5GB on 3G and 30GB in 4G (among calls, sms, etc.). I usually end up using 2-3GB/month.

1Gb is enough for web browsing, but if you are watching videos then NO. When I say web browsing I mean block all of the adds, and no pictures.

I couldn't even imagine living with a 1GB plan. I use like 200GBs month of my unlimited plan. But if you are always close to wifi and you use it on apps like whats app and wont watch youtube or twitch etc. But 1GB is still pretty low.

I usually use Wifi but I'd say added up I use about 1-2 Hours a day of 4g Web browsing/app using and 15 minutes of youtube

but then again those figures vary wildly both ways

Your usage isn't going to change because you have a new phone. If one 1GB is enough for your HTC, it'll be fine with your S7. An exception to this would be if you decide to install all your apps using data, in which case you might not get through the first month on 1GB. Just use wifi.

Personally, i need 3GB. See, you're the only one who can figure out if xGB/month is enough. Unless that number is something stupid like 0.01/month or 50/month

You'll appreciate 3-6GB then.
