Is there a HWMonitor like program for Mac?

So I was able to install Mac OS X 10.10.1 on my PC and I was wondering if there was a program for monitoring temps, specifically GPU temps. I tried a program simply called "Hardware monitor" but it only showed my hard drives.

✨PC Specs✨

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X | MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus | 16GB Team T-Force 3400MHz | Zotac GTX 1080 AMP EXTREME

BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 Samsung 850 EVO 250GB | NZXT 750W | Phanteks Eclipse P400A

Extras: ASUS Zephyrus G14 (2021) | OnePlus 7 Pro | Fully restored Robosapien V2, Omnibot 2000, Omnibot 5402

there's this program that shows you every sensor in a mac device.. but like our friend rossmann likes to put it: "i put the work into getting my hands on this, you can find it too. i nave never, and never will distribute this program."

seems to lack gpu temps.

since GPUs are a hot topic in macbook failures (see what i did there?) they *may* be actually intentionally blocking that sensor. although that's my tinfoil hat.

I do not normally post in these let alone sign up for them, but I too was looking for the same program. And because a certain person that likes to quote Louis RossMann  was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo helpful in a pompous way, I wanted to help everyone here and show you where to get the same HW Monitor that our favorite youtuber Mister Rossmann uses, for free even. took me a little bit to find but unlike certain folks, I like to share the wealth. Ya know something people do for each other on these post.

Just Unzip and run like any other app on mac, looks and works great.

BUT, if you rather go to where i found it here is the link, Its for hackntoshes but works all the same. Skip down to step:2 for the download link.

Also, this is just in case my file is no longer available.

https://hackintosher.com/guides/hwmonitor-hackintosh-guide/

If that link disappears, go to the Hackintosher.com and look up

HWMonitor Hackintosh Guide – Monitor Health Sensors: Temperatue, Voltage, Fanspeed

I wish you luck on all your endeavors and never let greedy men halt you in your pursuit of knowlegde

I use iStat Menus. It’s really great, and offers an absolute wealth of information for you to put in your menu bar. You can have as much or as little as you want show.

I also appreciate how cheap it is.

if you’re looking for free and don’t mind putting in a bit of legwork; there’s bitbar. An open source app that I use myself as well. There is no limit on what it an put in your menu bar. I use it for all kinds of stuff. It’s not as pretty as iStat Menus but people on GitHub have built some extremely cool and useful plugins.
