Old CPU going to new motherboard - LGA 1155

I have an i3 LGA 1155 3.1-Ghz dual from 2010. Think I can put the CPU in this?

Yep no problem!

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Why do you wanna get a new board? What's wrong with yours?

The old one is stock from Dell. Has one PCIx slot, no USB 3, 8 Gigs max RAM.

The new has several PCIx slots including a PCIx 3, a couple of USB 3 ports and takes up to 16 gig RAM. Also supports SATA RAID on board.

Also, someone is giving me a GTX 670. Would be nice to have it a nice new mobo to sit in. ;)
