Is technology becoming too Easy? all these advertisers for phones and computers keep saying it's faster and easy. Will it make us lazy? would this hurt our education in technology?

You're acting as if this is a 100% bad thing :P

It's good that some things are easy/do-able for everyone, but software should still have options for power users. Of course it's nice to have control over everything in your software, but this makes it harder.

And it's also great to just be able to use the software/hardware what is what intended for and not have to bother with fixing everything before being able to use it.

I apologize for the way I am. If my post seemed rude, that was not my intention. Just my ineptness in forming a nice coherent message.

i personally think there is a lack of education, but i don't want people to reflect on my opinion when voting. I just want to start the conversation.

Technology should be easy. Don't we want to get the best outcome with minimal fuss? Now, that is distinct from a separate problem, of dumbing down. Sometimes things are simplified in the aims of making things easy, but it starts taking away functionality that is needed, and requires extra effort to work around it.

I agree that some technologies, like iPhone have been dumbed down a little too much, sacrificing functionality.

What I think : tech should always be easier , as long as you don't sacrifice usability or functionality . Other than that , if more people can learn about tech , the better.
