Ooops my bad it's only $7000 lol at 1K Tray price (So you have to buy 1000 to get $7K per processor)

One thing thats pretty cool though is that in a year or two you can pick up an ES model of a xeon for cheap ( seriously cheap). 

Last time i got two 15 cores for 150$ each, so its definitely something to look out for

Basically pre-sale chips ( sent out to oem's and press).  They aren't technically supposed to be sold,  but you can find tons of them on ebay.  You just need to make sure what stepping you get.

Even the low end quad core is faster than a 6950x in terms of memory bandwidth.
