Can you OC a monitor using DP cable ? from 144hz to lets say 150hz

You can simply create a custom resolution with that refresh rate in Nvidia Control Panel (obviously provided you're using Nvidia) and click the test button.

If it works it works, if it doesn't it will revert after about 15 seconds.

 

You should be able to provided you're not already at the bandwidth limit of the cable, which is why Bergen asked for your resolution.
