New Case and Noctua fans issue

Hey All.

i got a Phanteks P400S case and it has fan control for 2 fans. The fan control fits a 3 pin connector but has only 2 pins in it. I would like to connect my new Noctua NF-P14 (two of them).

The Noctua fans are 4 pin. So wanted to cut the plastic around the fan control connector so i can connect the noctua fans into the 2 pins . Will the fans work and have fan control?

How has it been 5 hours and nobody has suggested simply connecting them to your motherboard to control them?

What mobo do you have OP? If it's anything from the past 5 years it should be capable of controlling them.
