I am not very big into networking, and I had a router in my room so I can have stronger WiFi around the house. The router did not have a password and I was afraid that other people could connect to it and use my WiFi. I set a password and I wrote down the one Windows gave me. It was very long and did not work. I have a net gear so I was looking at the stickers that were on the router. I wanted to change it so I went to the link they told me to go to, " www.routerlogin.net " .  I have access to the router from the website by signing in with "admin" and "password", how do I change it.

 

Information:

my computer is connected via Ethernet.

the router model is Wireless N-150 Router WNR1000 v2

if you reset the router using a button on it, it will reset the router as well as the username and password to what is on the sticker on the router. Once its reset, connect to its wifi  (or use a computer connected through it )using those credentials, then in a browser, type in 192.168.1.1 (your router's address), from there you can login and change the password and wifi name to what you want.
