Need Help with EdgeRouter POE

Hey, I'm trying to hook up my wan to eth2 and it won't work any reasons why also looking for someone who could help me set things this up right

No - you can map eth1 to WAN if you really want to. Eth2-4 are by default designed for switch ports.

I know Ubiquity is awesome for this kind of stuff, just providing a quick way to plug it so it works :)
