This new phone, how good / bad are the speakers?

I have the S7 which should have the same speakers. The speaker is tinny, and it's also muffled due to the water resistance implementation (a very fine grill or something) so it doesn't sound as good as my 5s that I upgraded from. They're also not as loud, although I don't think that's much of an issue.

They do their job. Nothing special, and not really worth talking about.

Coming from an Happy  S7 Edge user, who was using an HTC One M8 before. Normally these speakers would've been a "bad upgrade", but i moved to Tablets for any Multimedia stuff (HTC Nexus 9 a half year, and Google pixel C since 1 month), so i can live with the speakers.

 

HTCs Devices, or Nexus 6p will destroy the speakers of the s7 Edge, of course.

 

If speaker quality matters a Lot to you, might look into a HTC 10.
