do you keep you PC run 24/7 or you turn it off when not using it ?

All my computers are set to sleep after 5 hours, so they're barely on for extended periods unless they're defragmenting or installing updates. I'm one of those people that turn things on and forget to turn them off^_^.

 

I remember one morning I was in a rush to go somewhere so I shut my laptop and chucked it in the bag. On the bus however my bag was getting slightly warm. Opened the laptop and guess what... Windows updates. Not to mention the inside of my bag had turned into a sauna. I'm surprised the hard drive didn't poop itself up.

My work computer I leave on 24/7.  My computer at home I turn it off when i am not using it.

Home computer of mine I keep on all the time, but monitors turn off after like 2 hours. Wild hair and I'll shut it down for the night.

2 other pc's (users) in the house I think~ sleep. They're weird! :3
