Google is accused of owing €1.6bn ($1.8bn; £1.3bn) in unpaid taxes.

 

In short, Google have been raided because the French government has sufficient grounds and evidence to believe that they may involved in a fraud.  Just for clarity here, "fraud" is a completely separate issue from any legally "avoiding taxes".  Google is in some hot water here.

Well, i guess that they will find something eventually, such a big company with so many people can't be completely flawless.

There are probably some human errors somewhere that they maybe find soo...

Let's be real here: pretty much all corporations evade taxes (and not just a little; a lot). Intentionally. 

 

However, the way they do it, it's usually quite legal. That's why they're called loopholes. 

 

I have no doubt Google has used every loophole available. Even if the amount given isn't accurate, I doubt it's far off.
