Help with pricing for my 360

So im selling my Xbox 360 in order to get Skylake faster and I plan on replacing it with a Steam Link for my Netflix needs. Im not sure what I should sell it at, so I decided to ask here.

I have a 4Gb Xbox 360 that I bought a year or two ago. It has quite a few scratches (Friggin golssy plastic). I have the 360 and a connect, as well as some games.

 

Console-wise I have:

>1 Xbox 360

>1 Kinect

>1 Wireless xbox controller (that came with the 360) (Not pictured)

>1 Mini controller that is red with white LED's (not pictured)

>1 300Gb Hard Drive

>One Chatpad and headset

 

Game Wise (Hard-copied):

>Burger King Pocket Bike Racer

>MInecraft

>Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

>Sega Superstars Tennis

>Xbox Live Arcade (Same box as Tennis)

>Viva Pinata Party Animals

>Portal 2

>(Maybe, not sure if I am selling that) Just Dance 2014

>Kinect Adventures!

>Kinect Joyride

 

Game Wise (On HDD) (No Trials) (Not sure if I can sell these but I think I can):

>Assassins Creed Black Flag

>Dirt 3

>Fruit Ninja Kinect

>Happy Wars

>Hexic HD

>Kodu Game Lab

>MV vs ATV Alive

>Terra

>The Orange Box (Includes Team Fortress 2, Portal, Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2)

 

What do you guys think I could make for each of these individually or as a whole. Can I sell games on hard-drives?

$150-200 maybe you might be able to sell it for more

For everything in the console category I would say 100-120 dollars. 

For the games you have hard copies of, burger king would sell for $1-2, minecraft and portal 2 for $5-10 each. The rest of the games would probally sell for $5 or less. Check what gamestop sells them for and go lower to sell them quicker. 

 

You can not sell the games installed on your hdd. They are linked to your microsoft account. So unless you want to sell your account the games are unsellable. Also, a couple of those games are free anyways.

You think I could get 175 for everything since a new kinect and a 360, as well as several games. Or how much could I get at gamestop (cash)

I think $175 would be a fair price. Honestly though, what I would do is try to sell it all for $200. That way if some one tires to haggle with you, you can try to get them to settle at $175-$180, and not feel like you are losing out on the deal. Also, you may find someone that is willing to pay the $200.

 

Unfortunately, I can not access gamestop's website at work, so you would have to do the research on their trade in values.

Okay these random calculations are outrageous. I've done a bit of game and console trading for about 10 years now. First off, the games on the hard drive aren't worth anything as the licences is linked to your xbox account, even though they're playable. As for the discs, I would say roughly >$15 in total. As none of the game's are collector's favorites, I doubt anyone would even care to buy them.

 

 So currently, buying that 360 new is about $150 and that's with the controller. If you are trying to sell it to a store like an LGS, you would probably get $45-50 for the 360, $10 for the kinect and under $15 for the games (if they even buy them).  They might haggle with the price considering it is scratched up bad. If you are going to put it up on craigslist you might be able to get 70-80 for the 360 and kinect in total. Like I said those games aren't going to be sold on their own, might as well use them to sweeten the pot. Many people don't realize that when they do a hasty google search on the price of stuff, it's showing prices from business that are selling the console, not a random joe shmoe. So when people try to sell stuff to others for business price, they get upset when people tell them to fuck off.

I'd just keep it. It'll be "worth" more to you as a working console a ways down the road from now than the small percentage of the bill to build a new computer.

Honestly bro, you will not get much from it, as for the digital copies they are bound to your account only, and most people think that they are playable on anyones account as long as they are on the HDD. The games that you have are just normal copies nothing like a collectors edition. Also as for your Xbox 360 do you know if it is the basic HDD with 4GB? or is it with 250 or 320GB of HDD, cause that will bring the sell value of your console if you want to sell it. A xobx 360 4GB is now going for 89.99 used.

I literally bought my brother's for $20. He tried to turn it in to gamestop and they weren't even taking anymore. They really aren't worth much. I'd suggest just keeping it as a CD player and casual gaming.
