To be fair, I'm still happy with my Titan X because it is still the graphics card with 12GB VRAM and fits all my possible requirements! Hahaha, Also the sweet side, it also makes my friends jealous.

Then if u put 1080 under water the gap is gone again :D according to a post here on the forum the 1080 can get up to 2.5Ghz. Crazy.

Just now, mikat said:

there are rumors that a watercooled version of this chip will go up to 2500 Mhz :)

idk if they are wccftech-class rumors but yay

WCCF also claimed Fury X was 20% above a 980 Ti. I'd say the 2.1 we saw tested is probably going to be the drop off point. If Nvidia had 2.5 capable cards they would've bragged about it.

So, under water a 2800-core 980 Ti at 1500-1600 vs a 1080 with 2000 cores at 2.1 would be close.

I'm excited.

Unrealistic expectations and fantasy make the sky the limit, but this is just as good if not better than what I truly expected.  Can't wait to throw a waterblock on one.

Well double stuff Oreos Aren't double stuffed either. It's all marketing

Holy fucking shit.

I thought it was ~10% faster than 980ti but that's freaking impressive for the Little chip.

I'm still waiting for the 1080ti that'll boost my Little ITX System to a new Level!

Awesome to see that 1440p is Mainstream now!

No Fury X in the ashes bench https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_geforce_gtx_1080_review,15.html

Interested in seeing benches in the first tomb raider game, not the new one.

Also interested in seeing godrays turned off or on low in FO4 https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/nvidia_geforce_gtx_1080_review,19.html

And I want to know what driver was used for DOOM, as the latest one (today) gives about a 30% increase in performance.

This is really damn good, especially considering that we don't know how well it'll OC, and the fact that it's the 980 replacement, not the 980 ti replacement. Well it can be argued that it's currently the replacement for both since it's the new flagship. Still, I can't wait to see whether or not theres a 1080ti. You gotta be more positive, it's a large overall gain and you're here whining about people who can't take quotes in context.

At 4k vs Titan X

21.5% gain on The Division

28.6% gain on Withcer 3

27.7% gain on Rise of the Tomb Raider (DX12)

31.0% gain on Ashes of the Singularity (DX12)

26.3% gain on Far Cry Primal

36.2% gain in Hitman (DX12)

29.5% gain on Project Cars

27.0% gain on AC Unity

This card just fucking knocked it out of the park. That's better than I was expecting. Also nice to see huge gains in DX12.
