Discussion or Question?

LynxThe1st

Soo

Maybe there could be 2 types of threads?

If you are making a thread maybe you could have a choice to have a discussion thread to discuss things or a question thread to ask a question and have it solved

like this:

discussionorquestionltt.jpg

less aggressive though

I don't know what differences though.... for each one....discussions can be like a chatty place to chat about the thingy they want to chat about

questions can be like 'answer my question bitch, then fuck off and fuck this thread'

eh? :D

yeah it's a shit idea, I don't expect it to be used at all, I'd have a better chance at getting a golden specialized killstreak frying pan

Well, now you're reading this, I might as well inspire you with a deep quote

If you fall, I'll be there

so inspiring, so deep, the feels ;-;  THE FEELS ;-;

I'm going to ignore all the spam, and the fact that you've forgotten to disable adblock, and say that you don't seem to have explained (or, by the looks of it, actually thought about) what the actual purpose of this feature would be, or what difference it would make, and without that we can't even begin to consider whether it's worth the time, effort and money involved.

when i read it i thought of this,

there could be an option lets say on the top bar tjhat says foumrs cummiony ect and user the more section it could  have a questions and discussions tab. that way you can still view the forum as normal or pick to view only questions or people who just want to talk about stuff,

the thing idk about is how it would look when you click it, like would it just have every post tagged on a question just show up like list every single post from newest to old, or would it have it categorized like show the subforum its in so you can pick that way.

thats just my thoughts on it

It could also be used in a way that you can go to a sub forum (eg graphics cards) and set it so you only see question topics, so you can actually help some people out, instead of going into a topic and seeing it's a discussion and no one needs helps.

I go to another forum sometimes and they have this feature

OK, I can see the appeal of that. However, it would take a fair amount of effort to implement, and I would guess that quite a lot of threads would end up being wrongly tagged (but maybe that's just me being overly cynical), and it would end up not being used as much as it ought to be.
