It looks like the sidebar block was generated at exactly the wrong moment, when the topic had been created but not the OP. If it becomes a recurring issue, I'll look into it further, but I think it's one of those incredibly rare occurrences that is impossible to reproduce if you try, and it's not causing any issues.

maybe he deleted it or did something weird. i never had this happen beofore.

No, I checked - the topic is still up. It was just that the sidebar was generated between the time when the topic was created and when the first post was created, which means that the count is wrong (because it counts responses, which is posts - 1).
