whats your budget and location?

you dont need that much ram for gaming or light editing

i would wait for next gen and go with a higher end single gpu

nvidia gpu's cant take advantage of freesync!

haswell will keep the price for only a max of 20% performance loss

There is hardly any difference in price between haswell and skylake.

Thank's for answering the question for the OP, too bad we'll never know what he actually had to say.

Whats the intended use, budget, location, etc?

Will be used mostly for gaming but a bit of everything else as well

There is no budget but the more it costs the longer it will  take to build...

What do you mean by location?

uk/us/eu/netherlands, you never know, we get all types. Different geographics have different currency's, and things cost a little different in different countries.

I'd get a single high tier GPU rather than two mid tier GPUs but other than that it's solid.

[CPU: 4.7ghz I5 6600k] [MBAsus Z170 Pro G] [RAM: G.Skill 2400 16GB(2x8)]

[GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 970] [PSU: XFX Pro 850W] [Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo]
[Storage: 500GB WD HDD / 128GB SanDisk SSD ] [Case: DeepCool Tessaract]

[Keyboard: AZIO MGK1] [Mouse: Logitech G303] [Monitor: 2 x Acer 23" 1080p IPS]

The cost of DDR4 is very similar to DDR3. Also who mentioned 2nd hand ?

I will only buy one to start with for a while but I thought rather than wait till I have the money for a better 1 and get rid of the old 1 I should just get a another 1 and just SLI

Since you are also getting a 1080p monitor, I totally agree with your purchase strategy, then.

What do you mean by location?

What resolution would you play games at?

And by location, we meant your country. Not all parts are available everywhere, and they don't cost the same either.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.
