is Asus USB-N14 Good buy ?

hi guys i want to ask is this USB-N14 a good buy ? im short on budget got $24 and im rushing it, would like to have external antenna for upgrade too... thats why my eyes are on this one.. is this a good wireless receiver ? thanks ! photos below :)  im using a TotoLink 150mbps.. and i was thinking i want to Widen the range of my Receiver with this 300mbps.. well i know that i wont get more speed but im concerned about the range cause i keep on disconnecting due to Weak connection cause the Router im connection is too far from me..

and im Using it for my Laptop :D

if its for a pc, pcie cards are always recommended over usb. usb is just unreliable and slower
