I am trying to make a new flag for my home state of Pennsylvania. Our current flag is terrible. So I made some flags. I know some of them a are similar but just let it be. 

The state colors are gold and blue.

It would be nice if I could. Because putting the governor's seal on a blue background is really boring and unoriginal.

Of the designs, 6 feels like a state flag more so than the others. Blue and yellow is a bit hard to work well into a flag and while the others givev the look of the traditional American flag, they don't stand out particularly well with the white portions.

All of the flags (except 6) are meant to resemble the american flag tosymbolize the state loyalty to the Union. I don't like the colors etheir but they are the state colors. I assume that the gold/yellow represents the recourses of the state(oil,lumber,coal,steel). And the blue probably represents the connection to the great lakes and the atlantic ocean(through the Delaware river). Thats probably why they picked blue and gold. Do you think i should change the Eagle with a Keystone(state symbol).

A flag should be easy to redraw, that's my opinion. The only reason I didn't choose 6 over 1 is because 1 is easier

Indonesia has 2 lines, which is easier for me to draw. Just fold a piece of paper in half, and color on half red

Can't argue with that but do you think i should relpace the american eagle with a keystone? It would make it easier to draw.

If you can somehow make the eagle a simpler eagle with bold edges or some sort, it would be better than the keystone, imo

Thanks for the feed back! I'll start work on the reviesed flags when i get home. Oh and is the darker blue in flag 6 better than the blue in flag 7?

Actually I put more time i to the rest of them. To make a keystone i had to make a custom shape in Flag Maker. The eagle is already symbol. I had to load a picture of a keystone into the flag then map tge coordinates of the corners of the keystone. So that took forever. Then the other flags with stars making a keystone i had to place every star on a coordinate plane. Flag 6 was made by flipping through randomly generated flags and spoting it with different colors. I changed the colors and the symbol in the middle to be an eagle and that was that. So funny how that worked out but a better flag is a better flag. ?

Strange. The bule and yellow aren't the best colors i would pick. And the bird is drom the American seal and can be found on pretty much anything american.

Have you seen our current flag(the black bars are not in tye flag). Most of them are variations on the US national flag. Like flag 7 is the US flag with a keystone instead of fifty stars and a different color sceme. I am already working on revised verisons of the flags so they'll be up in the next week or so.
