r9 380 can't unlock core voltage

i'm trying to overclock my r9 380 strix with msi afterburner(4.20) and when i tick the unlock voltage control and voltage monitoring and restart msi afterburner the slide is still grey. I'm using radeon drivers 16.4.1

It's possible that Afterburner doesn't support the card's voltage controller since it's not a reference / MSI card, from what I could gather from the tooltip in the voltage control option.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

Try using a different software. IIRC there's an ASUS one but I can't recall its name.
