About 20-30 degrees in your CPU temperature depending on whether it's overclocked. That's for Intel's side. AMD has better stock coolers in general.

It is way better, though get a Cryorig H7 or BeQuiet!Pure Rock, don't hop the bandwagon.

Yes. If you're overclocking, you need an aftermarket cooler. If you're not, you're fine with stock.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Hypnotoad's RAM is dying, his motherboard is acting like the 6-year-old AsRock it is, a couple of SATA ports have just stopped working, but the RGB remains. The RGB always remains. Hypnotoad lives. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

The best price/performance coolers i've found at that price point are the Deepcool Gammaxx 400 and the Raijintek Aidos. The Aidos cools just as well but costs as little as $17

...not really. If you misuse something or ask it to do far, far more than it's capable of, yeah, it's going to suck.

Is it good? Yes, is it as good as the competition? No. Was it amazing when it had no competition? YES!

That doesn't make it crappy, though. Trust me, I'd never buy a 212 if the Pure Rock or a Cryorig were on the table, but it's still a respectable entry-level air cooler that's accessible to almost everyone and can handle a "my first overclock" situation.

Not saying it is bad, people just recommend it way to much and it is given way to much credit.

You'll get no argument from me there. It's overrated at this point because people know it, not because it outperforms anything else in its class.

For $35 I would much rather get a Cryorig H7.
