SSD vs HDD

Ok i was going to get an ssd for my gaming build but then i got worried about the life span of it..and the question is will the Samsung 850 evo last long..any estimates? Compared to the WD Black...

A SSD will probably last longer than a mechanical harddrive. The only thing is that they are a bit more expensive with capacity compared with a hdd. 850 is a pretty reliable ssd that will live longer than an average hdd you get, even a WD black. They are also much and much quicker :)

ive been using my kingston 300KC drives for about 3 years now

and the health is still 99%

 

been abusing it by putting and deleting a ton of anime on it since it was the sole drive that was in my laptop for 3 years
