In my opinion, the new stock cooler looks great, keeping with the same colour scheme as the previous stock cooler.

 

This may be false information although it looks quite legitimate, just looking at the picture. Although I thought it was called the X80 or something.

 

Can't wait till they release a new Titan or a variant that outperforms at 980TI by a good amount.

Yeah....take the turbine from a standard reference cooler, 3D print+paint the shroud, perspex for the window and bam, Nintendo NX controller style hoax.

It looks like the GTX1080 is just painted on or a sticker at the most. Instead of being indented like they usually are. Could be a ruse to throw us off.

That's your opinion but I disagree. The reference coolers of the 300 and Fury series actually look good in my opinion. This just looks like the offspring of a Maxwell reference card and a stealth jet:

I think this is only the cooler. Notice the lack of PCI bracket on the back as well.

I don't think anyone would go to that much trouble just to pull one over on fans..........And besides....Nvidia isn't one to frequently change designs and i wouldn't be surprised if all they did was add some angels on the shape
