I'm building a PC for my girlfriend for when she goes to uni so we can still play games together

so far I have gotten her a i5 4460,6gb ram,

a laptop hdd with Windows 7 

would be a awesome card to have in the build

If the person has a GTX 970 or better don't even consider giving this GPU to them. The fact that they can afford something high-end like that means they can save up the money to buy this GPU. I would give it to someone who has something low-end like a GTX 750 ti or an older GPU like a geforce GTS 450 or radeon HD 5870. 

yes, and i'll be looking at posts the people make before picking to just to make sure there not just lying about their rig or financial situation just to win.

Interesting giveaway. You have some money leftover? Isn't that what you call your savings? Or is it Amazon credit, because you can get pretty much anything off Amazon, shipped to you in two days. Toothpaste, floss, toilet paper. . . Even food.

 

I'd say buy the Fury for the youngest person with the lousiest rig (that can house the GPU, as you said) only if they post a picture of their great big smile afterwards

 

Because making someones day, heck, making their year in a way we can all appreciate justifies this massive giveaway more than "hey i got some leftover money".

yes, me having left over money is not why, but because i have left over money it allows me to do this.

I mean I don't really want a Fury X (would rather an R9 390X) but hey the Fury X is a cool card too.

I currently don't have a CPU (a desktop yet) but hey if I can get a part or two that I like or want off a giveaway that's always nice too.

 

The CPU I planned on getting for my build should be fine with that card. 
(I plan on getting an i5 6600K and maybe getting it up to 4.5GHz or 4.6GHz without playing with the voltages too much).

Well, I'm still on a X58 system, with an old GTX570, Core i7-920 @4GHz and 12GB RAM. I'm saving for a VR headset now, but the eventual videocard upgrade is straining the budget and that Fury X will come very handy, since the rest of the system would suffice for the task.

No CPU cooler just the stock one that came with it

The Reason I want it is because my PC is a potato and I have friends with a better gpu's and cpu's but I can't afford them I got this rig on the cheap cuz most of it is used parts and I want to out perform my friends rigs so that I don't have to deal with them laughing at my potato pc

Ummm I see a major flaw you know. So if someone's rig is bad enough to deserve a Fury X christ to lord the bottleneck will be horrible. 

Besides that how about my PC, fx6300 and a 7950.

thats why i said bad GPU more then you know bad rig, if you have a core 2 duo well RIP. more for the people who use a I5 iGPU or like 750ti/260x or anything else. hell even if you have a decent GPU who knows. more reasons than what i said on who ill pick as a winner

Roughly my rig, it could even handle the fury x although if I'd win I'd need to get another CPU asap to get it's full potential :3

Ram: 6gb DDR3 1333 Mhz

HDD: 1Tb hard drive

 

I'm in university at the moment and due to projects and exams, i don't have enough time for a part time job(i'm waiting until summer vacations) and save up for components. Also because of the integrated graphics i can only play on the lowest settings.

 

I know the i3 it's not to powerful enough for a Fury X but at the moment i have been planning to build a better PC and with a gpu like that could be a great start.

I guess it's enough, just need a better GPU atm since i'm mostly GPU bottlenecked. *Mostly on games that are GPU intensive, like GTA 5.

Not sure if you would consider a 270X.

Saving up money for a new computer soon so this would be a nice addition.
