Only CS:GO? Are you 100% certain he won't try any other games?

Well how much does he want to spend? Because you could probably get an APU with a 144hz free-sync display depending on the budget

also what country.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

Not entirely helpful, but then what country? Here's a UK list anyways.

Here, would be best just to spend 30 more and get a 360 GPU over an APU with a higher end board that has display port

And then here's the 144hz Free-sync display, at 189 pounds, solid for CS:GO/Dota

Because there's a huge difference between 60hz and 144hz in a competitive first person shooter game

Some can't spot the difference beyond 60Hz, but for those that can, yep it's a lot smoother.

I'm pretty sure anyone is going to be able to notice the difference in smoothness, it's when you get above 120/144hz that there's really no difference

Why is there an i3 with a Z chipset motherboard, and a V300 SSD, and not a 1TB WD Blue

also there would be cheaper 750ti cards, but a 360 is probably better for the long run for DX12 support, and that PSU isn't bad but it's pretty low end. could easily fit in something from XFX in the 550W range in the US at least.

Also wrong country.
