Pretty sure LTT is crashing FF, when I just have it open in the background

Time it happened: 3:39PM British GMT? (idk about time! I live in Liverpool if that helps)

When it crashes once, it will crash about 4-5 times until it stops

I was viewing

How do I know it might be LTT? Because if I don't have it open I will never get a crash but if I have it open in the background (e.g watching youtube, ltt forums in background) it may crash me sometimes

That thread works fine for me using an alpha build of Firefox. Are you able to reproduce it if you click the menu button -> ? -> Restart with addons disabled? It's possible that it's caused by an addon that is injecting into youtube videos on that page or something.

Can you type "about:crashes" into the URL bar (no quotes) and press enter. Can you then click the top result (which should be today's), and send me the link that it goes to? I doubt that I will be able to get much information from there, but it's worth a try.

Were addons disabled when it crashed? If not, can you restart with addons disabled, and stay like that for a while to see whether the browser still crashes.

 

However, even if it is something specific with this site, which I doubt, there is nothing we can do to fix it - Mozilla will have to fix it, because it would be a bug in the rendering engine. You could try downloading a beta or alpha build, and see if it works there.

Yup,  adblock (the only addon I have :P ) was disabled

That crash was in firefox's media code (libavcodec-ffmpeg) so it sounds like the issue is the youtube video that you were watching, rather than LTT.
