Backlit laptop keyboard

Hi there. I have a razer blade 2015 and I was wondering what the difference turning the backlight on would do to battery life. Would I see a noticable difference in my laptops battery.

I wouldn't imagine it would make that much of a difference as there's only like 80 of them. Maybe it would cut down on requisite processing power if you're doing complicated lighting effects, but I still doubt it would make that much of a difference. Best way to find out is just to try it.

You'd probably get more if you dimmed the monitor and stressed the HW less.  LEDs usually don't take much to power, so that wouldn't be as effective.

Turning my backlight off yields an additional hour of use so yea
