Rattling in Right Earcup (MAC OSX Yosemite)

Virruz

Today i got myself a pair of beyerdynamic DT990 Pro's with a 250ohm resistance , and im getting rattling in my right earcup when the base is just to high , idk if my motherboard that claims it has electrical interference protection. Is the ohm rating to high or is the driver dead ?? I have a hackintosh with yosemite 10.3 if that helps :)

You really need some kind of an external amp solution for 250ohm headphones. Onboard soundcard just won't cut it. Fiio e10k is a nice dac/amp combo.

describe a noise because when you say rattle it could just be a loose screw or a bit of plastic broken which is getting rattled.

The Dick of the audio page!
