No Wii U Ethernet Port?

Im getting a Wii U soon if the NX doesn't seem that good, but today i noticed that there is no Ethernet Port on the back. Now i went online and saw something like it can support external LAN Cables. Can someone tell me how that works and what they recommend me getting (Amazon)? Not that I like WiFi, just like to have Wired for the best experience. Thanks

You can get the wii ether net from a gamestop for like 10 bucks, for me the wii u wifi is really good

There's no LAN adapter for WiiU, but there is one for the old Wii, and it works just fine on WiiU. If you plan on gaming online (especiall in Splatoon) you'll notice a huge improvement if you have a LAN connection.
