There are no hidden files, and it's under AppData\Local\TempTaskUpdateDetection3113B0AA-4600-43D3-BA7F-9D8B5D9E8904

Feel free to delete it.

So was looking trough my SSD to clear some space and came across a file named "TempTaskUpdateDetection3113B0AA-4600-43D3-BA7F-9D8B5D9E8905" and was wondering what it's for?

Probably CPU temperature cache due to the name, not completely sure.

I think temp is short for temporary, not temperature.

Check if there are any hidden files, if there aren't you can delete it. Many programs leave blank folders which serve no purpose, and seeing it is a temporary folder it is likely Windows didn't remove it when it should have.

Is it in your User Folder under appdata/Temp?

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
