Longest you've went without internet.

miyabwah

Longest i didn't have internet?

We haven't had a PC in our Family until i was 8, and when i turned 9 or 10 we got interwebz access. Slow as f... very slow and incredibly expensive.

About eleven years...

Longest I ever went was like 12 years before it was invented. Had it even since lol.

Up time 14 years.

Hmm 10years? I don't think that I was in internet caffee's until I was like 10 or so... Though I might be wrong, as I had a PC since I was 9... hmm. Tough question :D, after all I was born when the internet started to get world wide around 1990-1993.

Lols... anyways since I had home internet probably one month.

I wanted to reply similarly, until I read more than just the Thread title :P

Lol, true that. But think about the future. You can tell your kids that you were born and many didn't even know the word "internet" :D.

Yeah my sis was the same.. she remembers when we got our first computer... I do not... It's ALWAYS BEEEN THERE D: but yeah  :)

Yeah well personal computers were not so spread everywhere before 2000. So anyone who was born after 1995 can't really remember when the first pc came into their house :D.

A week. Our ISP kept saying the next day and the next day we will send someone.

I dream of 0s and 1s folding to my every command,

algorithms seeping from the back of my head when I need them.

I have had the internet for 18 years and had mobile internet from 1997 due to a big mistake with BT Cellnet and a mobile phone contract*... so never really been without it... odd day or 2 and maybe a holiday for a week but that's it...

*BT Cellnet had a phone contract where you could call a home number for free as much as you wanted, so I used my dial-up ISP my home number and used a Nokia 5.1 so had mobile internet on my laptop.... for free.... had that contact for 5 years until they canceled it...

Didn't have internet for about a week or two when I moved into my new house last year because our ISP was fixing it all up for us, but that wasn't an issue. I had a lot of single player games to finish and a phone with 3G. No complaints there.

THOUGH I went 5 months without ANY access to my own computer or Xbox. I was being punished because of a disappointing school report, and it wasn't too bad either, just very sub-par for my parent expectations and my usual results. I think I was slightly depressed prior to that period so I'm not sure. I couldn't sync new music to my iPod, I couldn't keep up with YouTube due to the shitty iOS app that Google had put out with iOS 6.

#firstworldproblems right? Where would we be without our favourite tech?
