Interesting. If they don't play it carefully, AMD may accidentally knock themselves out of the APU market.

That was my thought. No more GTX 960m "gamer ready" stickers.
It'll be interesting to see the transition in the mobile market to say the least.

Depends on the use for the system. Little NUCs that can play games fairly well with integrated graphics would be awesome. 

There's also the possibility for them to make good rendering CPUs. Put render and transcoding tasks on the iGPU and it may perform better if the iGPU is good.

(4 years later) Intel is proud to present, the all new 9th gen processor, the i5 - 9590K, TDP of only a measly 220W

featuring integrated R9 290x gpu
