You don't need a gaming motherboard, the cooler is unnecessary as you won't be overclocking. 960 and upper tier i3 are OK but if you save enough ditching the gaming board and aftermarket cooler, I'd recommend sticking with that i5.

First off you d not need a $200 motherboard in a $750 PC

I then gave you a 250 gb SSD instead of a 120 gb one 

The power supply you had selected was not that good of a unit. I picked a 550w evga g2 unit. it will be much better than that other one.

Not necessarily true, a lot of heat can build up in case depending on your graphics card.

It's also generally quieter, and cheaper cases have worse sound deadening.
