Special thanks to dbrand for sponsoring this season of Scrapyard Wars!

Visit http://dbrand.com/SYW to check out their awesome vinyl skins for phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles, game controllers, and more!

With a modding and a performance component to the challenge, Season 4 needed some very special guests to make it possible. Bob and Rod from BS Mods team up with Luke and Linus for the most intense Scrapyard Wars yet!

I am very much looking forward to episode 2 on Vessel; so much so I will stay up until 3:00 a.m. to catch it out of the gate.

What can I say?  I loved episode 1!

By the end of episode 2, I am now waiting for the Kijiji/Craigslist Karma to bite Luke and Rod in the ass in episode 3. They are having such an easy time of this one it seems compared to Linus and Bob.

And...another week to wait.

The dead pixels in the camera at 3:59 (youtube episode 1) are annoying. I thought there was something wrong with my monitor.

Edzel confirmed it was a problem with the export. I didn't see any dead pixels in episode 2 luckily. :)

Gotta say im really not digging this "reality show vibe" im getting from this, the whole thing with linuses teammate saying "ya i think we got a good team" *cut to durpy linus statement* *cut to entirely unrelated facepalm by teammate as response* really dislike that stuff...

Edzel was worried that Episode 2 wouldn't hold up to Episode 1 and it does. They both had the same strengths, again the layout and timing was perfect. This one felt like it was more action than dialogue but it was broken up enough so neither felt overwhelming. I'm trying to keep my reviews very general to avoid spoilers, but there are some parts in Episode 2 that were handled perfecting in terms of editing and during those parts my mind stopped paying attention for just a moment to recognize how it differentiated itself from previous SYW and other YouTube content. And to mirror what I said about Episode 1, it's basically like watching a real TV show now except I don't remember ever getting this upset about waiting a week for the next episode for a TV show.

Was literally about to post saying that I was glad they'd changed the arrangements of the adverts but nope, still dropping them in the middle and this one doesn't even do anything to make the product look good.

Why are they shooting a phone? I thought they were advertising a bulletproof skin at first but all they'd done is prove that a skin doesn't make the phone any safer.

This was great. I think Luke may win this time as I don't think Linus' team is as strong.

Not sure about the rules though. Is it performance vs dollar, or just performance using the total budget? How much does the aesthetics come into it? For any newcomers, this isn't clear.

I do not fully understand the dbrand advertisement.

It got my attention, it did that part right.

It didn't ... deliver the message, whatever it was...

"Our skins suck, they don't protect the devices from Desert Eagles?"

"Our skins are so good, the only thing that will get through them is a Desert Eagle?"

is it possible that the used market near you sucks because of you doing scrapyard wars and then inspiring other people to build used computers?
